In his talk, Mr Wang Xiaozhu divided the past 30 years' development of the Chinese film industry into three stages. The stages are: "ten years of state-owned", "ten years of the cooperation between state-owned and self-employed", and "the era of IP". He used his own working experience to interpret each era's characteristics. Mr Wang believes that if creators wanted to improve quickly, they should learn from practices. Besides, as a producer, one must not forget to communicate with directors, scriptwriters, and the rest of the production team and offer their ideas.
